How Pulmicort is usually taken
Take this medication as your physician prescribed. Shake the canister well. Press the canister and mouthpiece together at exactly the same time to administer a dose of this medicine. If you need to take another dose (per physician's instructions) wait a few minutes between doses.

Potential Side Effects of Pulmicort
Some possible side effects include: Abdominal pain, conjunctivitis (pinkeye), cough, diarrhea, ear infection or inflammation, fever, fungal infection in mouth, headache, nasal or sinus inflammation, nosebleed, pain, rash, respiratory infection, stomach or intestinal inflammation, throat inflammation, viral infection, vomiting, and wheezing. Contact your physician if any side effects persist.
