Typical uses of Elidel Cream
Elidel Cream is used to treat mild to moderate dermatitis (inflammation of the skin).

How Elidel Cream is usually taken
Use this medication as your physician prescribed. A thin layer of this cream should be applied topically to the affected area of the skin twice a day, about 12 hours apart, unless otherwise directed by your doctor. The cream should be rubbed in gently and completely. Discontinue use of this medication once symptoms resolve. If symptoms persist for more than 6 weeks contact your doctor. Wash hands immediately after applying, unless hands are an area that requires treatment.

Potential Side Effects of Elidel Cream
Some possible side effects include: skin burning, stinging, itching, or soreness at the site of application of the medication. Contact your physician if any side effects persist.
